MARKETING AS A TOOL TO SERVE PEOPLE

Public administration is a wonderful profession in which you are able to help people and satisfy their needs. Society is a giant mass of citizens that live in a  certain place, each person has different kinds of interests, jobs, culture, religion, etc. We ,as future public employees, have to focus on learning new ways of making decisions that will solve people's demands. 

One tool that can help us is "Marketing". In public administration, marketing is an ensemble of processes and marketing relationship, well determined between the components of the administrative system, through which, as a public power, carried out are the laws and/or the activities involved in the development of services are planned, organized, coordinated, managed and controlled to meet the public interest . We can say that the public administration marketing is a process of "market" research, which leads finally, to its knowledge in connection with all factors relating to the citizen's needs and preferences. As it can be seen, with marketing it's possible to provide great quality public services that care about our citizen's issues and have the necessary instruments to solve them.

 That's the reason i decided to study public administration, there are so many ways to make an impact on society and public services, that it's impossible to just use one, and for me marketing has so much to offer to our people beyond the typical use given by private companies for their own good.
